With this project we aimed to gather theoretical knowledge, tools (methodologies and training materials) and inspiring practices on network strengthening through observation and internship with our European partner KVPS/Tukena and through an international congress. The collected knowledge is brought to an internal working group, with the goals of knowledge sharing and using it as a corner stone to update our own frameworks and training policy on context involvement.
The MPC (Medical Pedagogical Centre) Sint Franciscus offers a wide range of services,focused mainly on children and young people with mild, moderate or severe intellectual disabilities, whether or not in combination with autism, behavioral and/or emotional disorders, a (neuro)motor disability or a combination of several disabilities. The project fits within our basic pillar “context strengthening work”, which will be put in the spotlight both in the current and next school year.
