The main aim of this project was to strengthen the self-reliance of our VET learners by developing their work-oriented digital, social, organisational and other skills and competences such as foreign languages in a European working environment. We wanted them to experience what the free movement of goods, services and people means in concrete terms for European citizens. The results achieved exceeded our expectations and are included in the Europass.
De Wijnpers is a provincial secondary school with 3 study areas: arts and creation, agriculture and horticulture and STEM (science, technology, engineering & mathematics). We applied for this VET or Vocational Education Training project because we wanted to offer high-quality education with maximum learning opportunities starting from the learners' talents, also on the basis of an international trajectory to give them stronger job opportunities.
