Objectives

Within this project, the school developed a trajectory to detect the needs and interests of students and to match them to an international workplace. The selection process assessed needs, motivation, interests and language skills. In addition, a methodology was developed to screen qualitative workplaces. In this way, we realized customization for individual learning trajectories, which led to qualitative learning trajectories, impact, inclusion and diversity.

Background

With this project, Hotelschool Ter Duinen focused on professionalizing and expanding the approach to international mobility in order to better respond to the changing labor market. The international workplaces offered a good insight into the evolution of the restaurant world and the professional needs of students and teachers. In addition to practical and product knowledge, the project focused on acquiring knowledge about restaurant concepts and the latest trends in gastronomy.
