Through this project, we want to give young people the opportunity to question themselves and analyze their daily practices from an ecological point of view, whether it be the daily actions they take in their lives outside our structures or inside them. We therefore also have the desire to question certain practices of our associations which do not or no longer correspond to the environmental challenge we are facing. We also want to give participants the opportunity to think about other possible alternatives to these practices and how to implement them concretely, whether within our associations or, once again, outside them. The idea is that the participants become more informed on the subject of sustainable development, that they are aware of the challenges of (over)consumption and pollution. That is to say, they develop their critical thinking by learning to compare information and points of view, to find out about the causes and consequences of the actions that govern their daily lives. We also want young people to become active and promote sustainable initiatives, whether at a local, municipal, regional or even larger level! That young people move from consumers to consum'actors, that they become active and take a place in the society in which they evolve. We hope that through this project, these young people will continue to become independent and take responsibility vis-à-vis the rest of society, that they can take part in their role as citizens. Young people also have a place in the public debate, we want them to be valued in their actions by becoming initiators and vectors of change for an outside population. In addition, we would like this project to go further by allowing young people to be vectors of a message of awareness and information on the issue which will be intended for a wider audience. To do this, we will collectively create an audiovisual work that will address the question and the environmental issues. This creation will be distributed to the "general public" following the youth exchange activity.
