The project aimed to provide the necessary means and framework for organizing and implementing student and academic staff mobility to and from partner institutions in Erasmus+ program countries. The objectives are in line with the internationalization strategy of the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM). The main objectives were to maintain and further develop the students’ ability to learn and practice in different environments, as well as to improve the teaching skills of the academic staff. It was expected that the short-term mobility of the academic staff would lead to the implementation of the most up-to-date teaching content and methods. The experience gained during outgoing student mobilities and the cultural interactions of the students at UCTM with incoming foreign students were to contribute to the creation of flexible professional competences to better respond to the needs of the European labor market. UCTM expected to benefit from a key activity Erasmus+ KA 131 within this project to maintain long-term cooperation with many foreign universities on joint research projects through the exchange of students and highly qualified academic staff.
