The main goal of the project was improving the quality and appeal of education provided by Shumen University through the internationalization of teaching, learning, and research. The main activities for achieving this goal were the mobilities based on already established and newly created partnerships with higher education institutions in Europe. Participation in mobilities provided students with direct access to knowledge, ideas, teaching methods, and research skills relevant to their fields of study, as well as practical experience in learning and working in an international context. In addition, students were expected to improve their language proficiency and communication skills, and their ability to solve problems and work in a team. Among the other expected results were improved key competences - digital, entrepreneurial, civic and intercultural, which would lead to improved capacity for sustainable development and lifelong learning. Thus, the project aimed to improve students’ employability and social inclusion and strengthen their European identity. Mobilities for the academic and administrative staff aimed at learning innovative teaching and assessment methods, and gaining expertise in working in different educational contexts.
