Objectives

The project, implemented by the Association “Institute Perspectives” within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme accreditation,Youth sector, was strategically designed and implemented to adequately respond to clearly defined needs and structural challenges affecting young people, especially those from small towns and groups with limited opportunities to participate in public life. Our main ambition was to achieve a lasting positive change in the attitudes and competences of young people, especially among vulnerable social categories such as NEETs (young people not in education, employment, or training),representatives of ethnic minorities, and young people with limited access to resources. The project objectives were clearly formulated and correspond directly to the horizontal priorities of the EU,namely promoting inclusion and diversity, supporting the digital transition, and building a sustainable environment for the development of youth potential.Firstly, the project sought to actively address structural problems such as limited access to quality education for Roma and Turkish children and young people and the real risk of social exclusion and radicalization among vulnerable groups. These challenges were identified on the basis of an in-depth analysis of the needs of the target communities, and in response,a series of youth exchanges were implemented, which created practical and sustainable solutions to address these issues. The educational framework of the project was carefully structured and built upon, integrating elements of experiential learning, a project-based approach, and critical thinking methodologies, which created real conditions for acquiring and practicing new skills and competencies. Particular attention was paid to the development of entrepreneurial competences and the motivation of young people, especially among NEETs.This was achieved through detailed practical training and workshops dedicated to building business models, acquiring digital skills, and developing sustainable and environmentally friendly entrepreneurial projects. As a result, young people acquired practical knowledge, developed self-confidence, and became motivated to apply what they had learned in real life.A concrete measurable result was a significant improvement in the entrepreneurial mindset among participants, which was confirmed by internal surveys and follow-up interviews, according to which more than half of the participants expressed their intention to start their own initiatives or join existing social and business projects in the short term. In addition, the project strengthened the sense of EU identity, tolerance, and intercultural communication among young people. Through intensive sessions involving reflection and discussion as well as practical tasks and group activities, the project actively promoted solidarity, mutual respect, and understanding among participants from different cultures and countries. This goal was achieved with great success, as according to the recorded results and participants' assessments, significant progress was made in terms of intercultural empathy and cooperation, as well as their willingness to actively participate in EU initiatives in the future. The project aimed to create a sustainable framework for international cooperation and exchange of good practices between partner organizations from different countries. The partners actively participated in the preparation and implementation of the activities, the subsequent dissemination of the results, and the integration of the achievements into their own youth policies and programs. This activity significantly strengthened the organizations' capacity for long-term sustainable development and cooperation, contributing to the expansion of their international networks and the development of new joint initiatives. As a final effect of all these actions, the project significantly improved the social integration and personal development of the participants, and also contributed to strengthening civic engagement and entrepreneurial culture in local communities.Young people expanded their social and professional networks, gained confidence and practical skills necessary for active participation in contemporary economic and social life. The project laid solid foundations for the future active involvement of young people in decision-making processes at local, national, EU level and initiated sustainable models for youth entrepreneurship that have the potential to be adopted and replicated in other communities and countries. In conclusion, the project achieved its initial objectives, demonstrating the effectiveness of the educational methods applied, sustainability, and potential for future development. It contributed directly to the formation of a younger generation that is more active, socially responsible, entrepreneurial, and prepared for the challenges of digital and ecological transformation,in line with the EU strategic priorities for youth development.
