By implementing the KA131 Erasmus project, UCLan Cyprus aims to further develop its international engagement and reputation by establishing new partnerships and inter-institutional agreements with Programme countries and other international Higher Education institutions UCLan Cyprus seeks to promote internationalisation by providing access to high-quality education for all, enabling them to realise their full potential. Moreover, we would like to improve the quality of education and learning by offering students access to diverse learning environments, by enriching curricula incorporating international and intercultural dimensions or by encouraging innovation in teaching through exposure to other academic systems. The successful implementation of this project comes with a series of benefits that we would like our students and staff mobility participants to capitalise on: a. Students benefiting from Erasmus+ study mobilities were expected to experience the life in a different country, study in different educational environment, improve their soft and hard skills such as their emotional intelligence, social and communication skills, practise other languages and explore various cultures. Likewise, students who were abroad for an internship had the chance to network and increase their employability opportunities by enhancing their Curriculum Vitae. b. academic and professional staff participating in the programme had the opportunity to teach in a new academic environment with a culturally diverse audience, exchange innovative pedagogical and digital teaching methods with their peers, and benefit from various training sessions that enabled them to implement best practices and expand their professional networks.
