Following our recent transition to university status, our primary objective in implementing this KA131 project was to establish and strengthen our institutional capacity for international mobility while building the foundational framework for future expansion. Despite starting modestly with only 2 outgoing staff mobilities and 4 incoming student exchanges, our goal was to systematically develop our Erasmus office capabilities and create sustainable pathways for increased participation in European academic cooperation. We aimed to enhance our institutional international profile through these initial mobility activities, allowing our staff to acquire innovative pedagogical approaches and intercultural competencies while providing our incoming students with diverse learning experiences that contribute to their personal and professional development. Central to our objectives was the establishment of robust administrative and operational procedures that would enable us to significantly scale up our mobility numbers in subsequent project cycles, positioning our newly-established university as an active contributor to the European Education Area. Through this foundational phase, we sought to demonstrate our commitment to internationalization, build essential partnerships with European higher education institutions, and create the organizational infrastructure necessary to support a substantial increase in both outgoing and incoming mobility activities, ultimately strengthening our role in fostering European academic integration and student/staff development opportunities
