City Unity College (CityU) aimed to maximize the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme (2021–2027) after being awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. Our primary objective was to promote and expand mobility opportunities, encouraging more students and staff to gain valuable academic, cultural, and professional experience abroad. To achieve this, we established new inter-institutional agreements and built a strong network of contacts to support and grow our mobility programmes. We also implemented a targeted marketing plan to raise awareness and boost participation in both outgoing and incoming mobilities. Furthermore, we organized regular information sessions to ensure staff and students were well-informed about the programme’s opportunities, with the Erasmus+ Coordinator offering continuous guidance and support. Through these actions, CityU enhanced key competences and skills among participants, strengthened collaboration with the labour market, and took significant steps towards advancing its internationalization strategy.
