At CCIF Cyprus, we alleviate the needs that we have detected in our youth workers, youth and community within our daily work in terms of inclusion and diversity, participation in democratic life, protection of the environment and digital transformation. Undoubtedly, the Erasmus+ accreditation in youth sector allows us to expand knowledge, skills, competences, to strengthen the capacity, the attractiveness and the international dimension in the areas we operate. In continuity with the mission of CCIF Cy, addressing the needs expressed by young people from our area with whom we have come into contact in recent years, the YE provided the opportunity to our youth to be part of the Erasmus+, learn from peers, expand knowledge, gain new skills, enhance aptitudes and attitudes. The professional development gave space to our youth workers to learn how others work in other places, by the mere fact of developing new learning mobilities for our youth, volunteers and increase the n. of newcomers in youth work. Our goal was to contribute in a more just, inclusive, sustainable and supportive society. Pafos, is a small reality in which not many opportunities are offered for growth to youth in relation to their future, except in formal learning contexts. Youth and youth workers from Paphos and surrounding areas, needed the opportunity to meet other young people, and live formative experiences that can leave an important mark in their life. Based on the needs analysis we aimed to: 1. Build collaborations with European organizations to create exchange programs. Promote available opportunities through workshops, social media, and community events to encourage participation. 2. Develop programs in non-formal education specifically aiming at youth, at risk and with fewer opportunities focusing on their skills development and empowerment. Create mentorship initiatives with the buddy system to provide guidance and support in personal and professional development. Offer workshops that focus on employability skills, entrepreneurship, and life skills. 3. Organize events that celebrate European cultures, fostering connections and understanding among youth. Create platforms for young people to discuss EU-related topics, encouraging active participation in civic life. Use social media to share stories of youth involvement in EU initiatives, emphasizing the benefits of European unity. 4. Provide access to training programs for youth workers focused on innovative teaching methods and non-formal education techniques. Facilitate events that allow youth workers to share experiences, challenges, and best practices. Implement a system for assessing the impact of training and learning activities, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation. OBJECTIVES: -Increase the local and international dimension of our and partner organisations by organising mobility activities. -Strengthen personal and professional development of young people in our territory partners communites, in particular those at risk of social exclusion, increasing the n. of participants in non formal activities. -Facilitate the sense of belonging in the European Union among youth. -Professional development of youth workers, volunteers and trainers who are part of CCIF CY and partners teams by increasing the n. and quality of learning activities in non formal and informal education.
