The primary goal of implementing this Youth Exchange was to empower youngsters who don’t feel comfortable expressing their feelings. The project proposal was based on the fact that while technology has increased dramatically and that helped to develop new methods of communicating with each other, it nevertheless made youngsters prefer to spend a lot of time online rather than going out. The majority of youngsters preferred to tay at home on social media or playing videogames, rather than meeting each other on a more personal level. This was doubly true due to the COVID-19 pandemic, thus making the issue even more prevalent. With this project we wanted to help young people to not only express their feelings through a variety of non-formal activities but understanding that doing saw is healthy and should be normalized. The project’s aim was to become more socialized and be able to speak up their own feelings without having the fear of being exposed. During the project, participants were given the opportunity, using both non-formal-education, as well as the team building activities to give them motivated to communicate with each other in a more personal way, even after the activities of the day have taken place. In turn, this focused on the objective of given them confidence in other aspects of their life, such as personal, educational, and work environment. The project specific objectives were: • Boosting the feelings of the participants with theatre activities in order to express their thoughts through acting, so they can feel more comfortable. • Often people feel better when they know that they are not alone and others understand what they are going through. By this programme we wanted to give these youngsters the opportunity to find others that either struggle with a thought or something similar. • To encourage youngsters to express through art and music and speak up their feelings. Music and art is a very helpful way that is shown to help people feel more confident to understand and be able to speak up their emotions. • To make participants understand the differences between each other's feelings, and being able to understand that they are not alone. by that they will feel confidence to help one another and give advice. • To promote emotional activities through photography so they can find objects or a space to photograph that will express their feelings and share among the members of the communities.
