Through the implementation, we aimed to achieve improvements on multiple levels. We wanted to provide students the chance to gain recognized practical experience abroad, acquire required competencies, and build confidence in an international environment. For teachers, we focused on professional development through job shadowing and methodological courses, gaining new inspiration, creating conditions to indroduce new methods, and encouraging innovation in work and teaching processes.
SŠŘ, Šumperk is the largest school of its kind in the region. It offers 3-year VET programs, 4-year study programs, 1-year blended courses, follow-up studies, and retraining courses. The aim is to educate skilled professionals for the labour market. The project responded to the school's needs and vision: to improve VET education, increase interest in craft professions, build international cooperation, and develop students´and staff´s professional and personal competencies.
