The main aim was to enable the participants to get new professional experience from realistic foreign social work placement, improve their language competencies, get self-esteem and develop personally, improve their competitive position at labour market, improve the quality of social work in the Czech Republic. Further we wanted to offer other students and our teachers new knowledge and experience, improve cooperation with the receiving organization, increase the prestige of our school-
We are a school of higher education, and for over 30 years we've been educating future social workers in post-secondary programme. In education we stress personality development and moral attitudes not only in theory, but also in practical training. Our graduates are active in many areas of social work and work with many various target groups in state institutions as well as non-government organizations. The aim of the project was to get experience of social work abroad.
