Objectives

Moravian Business College Olomouc (MVŠO) implemented this project primarily to support and expand its strategic goals in the area of internationalization. MVŠO has a long-term internationalization strategy that is carefully aligned with the institution's overall mission and objectives. This strategy is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect new developments and priorities. The implementation of this project represents a crucial step toward achieving the university's international ambitions. A core focus of MVŠO is the development of linguistic and intercultural competencies among both students and staff. The university regularly organizes language courses and intercultural training sessions. These activities are designed to enhance participants' language proficiency, global awareness, and communication skills, which are key qualities in today’s interconnected world. Student and staff mobility programmes supported through this project play a vital role in reinforcing these skills by offering real-world international experiences. By exposing students and staff to diverse academic systems and cultural contexts, MVŠO sought to inspire new pedagogical approaches, encourage the integration of global perspectives into curricula, and stimulate the creation of joint research and innovation projects. In addition, MVŠO actively engages in networking, creating long-term international partnerships, and exchanging best practices. Participation in this project has enabled the university to establish new collaborations and deepen existing ones, contributing to the sharing of valuable knowledge and experiences. Establishing long-lasting partnerships contributes to the professional development of MVŠO’s academic community, brings innovation to the educational process, and is essential for future collaborative projects. Another intended outcome was to enhance institutional visibility and reputation of MVŠO on the international stage. In alignment with the principles of the Erasmus+ programme, the European Union, and MVŠO’s strategic mission to act not only as an educational institution but also as a driver of regional growth, innovation, and international cooperation, the university is committed to ensuring that the knowledge and experience gained through this initiative is beneficial not only to the participating higher education institutions but also the broader region of Olomouc and, potentially, the Czech Republic as a whole.
