The project was implemented as a part of the University of Pardubice's strategic efforts to strengthen its international dimension, as set out in the university's 2021 Strategic Plan, Internationalisation Strategy and Erasmus Policy Statement. The University of Pardubice (UPCE) aims to become an open institution that offers high-quality conditions for international cooperation in education, research and academic mobility. The project aimed to systematically expand and diversify the range of mobility opportunities for students and staff through the Erasmus+ programme, including short-term combined formats (BIP), mobility to partner institutions outside the European Union, environmentally friendly travel options, and digitally supported mobility. Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring equal access for all eligible participants, including those with fewer opportunities, and on strengthening strategic partnerships within both European and global contexts. The project sought to contribute to: - the integration of mobility as an integral part of study plans; - the development of students' transversal and global competences to enhance their employability; - the professional growth of staff through targeted teaching and training mobility; The project also aimed to develop a bilingual university environment to support internationalisation. At the same time, the project supported the international dimension of other UPCE strategic initiatives, particularly SAFE UPCE, which focuses on ethics, equal opportunities, and care for the academic community, and Sustainable UPCE, which links sustainable development, the digitisation of administrative processes, and European democratic values.
