For clarity, I begin this final report by pointing out that it concerns two mobility grants: One grant that was awarded to Ambis University and one grant that was inherited from Jan Amos Komenský University Prague that Ambis University merged with at the end of 2023. For further clarity these are the awarded grants: 2023-1-CZ01-KA131-HED-000119759 and 2023-1-CZ01-KA131-HED-000112553. Both grants were administered entirely by Ambis University for the mobilities of students and staff of Ambis University. Furthermore, as acronyms are not permitted in the writing of this final report I have done my best to keep the usage of acronyms to a minimum. Sometimes I refer to terminology associated with the Erasmus+ Programme, for example ECTS, STA, EWP, as well as established names of our international partners and product names that do use acronyms. Ambis University has exceeded all its internationalization objectives set out at the beginning of the academic year 2024/2025. In March 2023, Ambis University had only 17 international higher education institution partners for student and staff mobility and the great majority of the exchanges were for the ECTS 410 - Business and administration. More than half of these original partner institutions are in Hungary, Poland and Slovakia – destinations not sought out by our students – but are key partners for our science and research projects and also are the higher education institutions where many of our teachers and researchers have strong ties. A dozen additional institutional partnerships were rekindled in the course of spring and summer of 2023. The merger of Ambis University with Jan Amos Komenský University Prague in October 2023 began a process of conversion of those Jan Amos Komenský University Prague partners that had compatible study programs to the Ambis University partner list, a process that continued well into 2024. Presently, Ambis University has more than 70 exchange partners across the European Union. Thanks to the EWP dashboard and its functionality for mobility agreement proposals this transition was possible in a relatively short span of time. Ambis University now has more than a dozen partners in Spain and Portugal with whom we have a very lively SMS exchange. We are also expanding our institutional presence in France, Germany, Italy and other countries. Please see the maps with partner higher education institutions attached to this report. The number of our mobility participants (incoming and outgoing) is growing steadily. While at the beginning of 2023 only four incoming students were issued transcripts after their semester at Ambis University, more than fifty incoming students are arriving for their Erasmus Welcome Day this semester! As every semester the largest group of exchange students is from Spain. The incoming SMS mobility for the upcoming semester also includes sizable groups from Portugal, Italy and Slovakia as well as students from Slovenia, Latvia and Turkey as well as international students from our Spanish and Portuguese partners. The incoming students have selected classes from our expanded Erasmus+ course list that includes contributions from recently founded departments at Ambis University. Our English-language class offering for incoming exchange students has grown substantially. Ambis University is still much smaller than any public school and incoming exchange students from partner universities are welcome to choose Gen Ed electives from other study programs based on their home institutions' guidance. Year 2023 was a breakthrough year for Ambis University not only due to the merger with Jan Amos Komenský University Prague but also because two years ago Ambis University had two faculty-size departments: Business and Economics & Security Management. After major restructuring, Ambis University now has eight departments (Economics, Economy, and Public Administration; International Relations and Political Science; Law and Cybersecurity; Management and Human Resources; Marketing and Tourism; Pedagogy; Psychology and Social Sciences; Security Management) that enable individual pedagogues to better profile their work and their study programs and to teach in the English language. Ambis University also proactively invites guest lecturers from partner institutions. Their teaching contributions inspire our own lecturers, connect them with their colleagues from partner higher education institutions and help them to prepare for their own future mobilities.
