The implementation of Erasmus+ projects is a key tool for TUL in fulfilling its institutional internationalization strategy, the main objectives of which are: • Increasing student and staff mobility: TUL implemented a similar number of student mobility programs for study stays and work placements abroad as in the previous project period, and also supported a similar number of academic and administrative staff mobility programs, which is significantly higher than in the previous program period. The continued development of mobility was also supported by greater involvement of faculties and participants in the Blended Intensive Program. The aim was to enable as many members of the academic community as possible to gain international experience, which is key to their professional and personal development. • Expansion and improvement of the network of partner institutions: through its International Office, the university focused on establishing new and strengthening existing partnerships with universities and businesses across Europe. The emphasis on quality is key, i.e., seeking partners who offer innovative study programs and research opportunities, especially in fields that are strategic for TUL (e.g., engineering, nanotechnology, textile engineering). • Support for the internationalization of study programs: The project enabled TUL to further develop and modernize its study programs to make them more attractive to foreign students and meet international standards. This includes, for example, creating study plans in English or incorporating international elements into the curriculum. • Improving the administration and management of mobility projects: TUL's long-term goal is to simplify the administrative processes associated with international mobility and project management. The project call 2023 continued to implement the digitization and streamlining of administrative procedures. The impact of the project from call 2023 on TUL was as follows: 1. Participants: Increase in the number of participants who become TUL ambassadors after returning from mobility and promote international cooperation. 2. On the entire organization: Increased international reputation of TUL as an active and reliable partner in the international environment. 3. On the region: Strengthened role of TUL as a center of innovation in the Liberec Region, with overlap into European and international networks. The aim of the project would be to strengthen the university's position as a dynamic, open, and internationally oriented institution that offers its students and employees above-standard opportunities for their development, especially in the area of professional knowledge, increasing the quality of teaching and language skills, and improving professional competencies and skills. It also enables the expansion of personal development and the ability to work independently and, last but not least, promotes an intercultural approach as one of its standards.
