Objectives

Erasmus+ KA131 projects are a key instrument for fulfilling the University´s internationalisation strategy. They support the development of long-term partnerships, enhance the quality of education and research, and promote the exchange of knowledge, skills, and best practices across borders. The project was implemented in line with the University´s Erasmus Policy Statement and European Charter for Higher Education, ensuring strategic alignement and high-quality standards. One of the primary objectives was to strengthen the University’s international profile by deepening cooperation with existing partner institutions and establishing new strategic partnerships. Through mobility activities, the University expanded its network of trusted partners across Europe and beyond, enabling the development of joint academic initiatives, collaborative research, and shared educational resources. Another key objective was to enhance the quality of education and professional development for all participant groups. Student mobilities—both for study and traineeships—were aimed at improving academic performance, language proficiency, and employability. Academic staff mobilities focused on pedagogical innovation, curriculum development, and international teaching experience. Non-academic staff, including employees from the library, IT services, and administrative departments, participated in training mobilities that allowed them to observe and adopt best practices in student services, digitalisation, and international support. The project also aimed to promote innovation and the exchange of good practices through formats such as Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs). These programmes combined physical mobility with virtual collaboration and were designed to foster challenge-based learning and interdisciplinary cooperation. A strong emphasis was placed on inclusion and equal access. The University provided targeted support to participants with fewer opportunities, including additional financial assistance, personalised guidance, and administrative support. The project also contributed to environmental sustainability by encouraging green travel options and raising awareness about the ecological impact of mobility. Participants were informed about sustainable travel choices. Finally, the project supported the development of digital competences and the use of digital tools in mobility management and education. Participants were encouraged to use the Online Learning Agreements, and virtual collaboration platforms. BIPs and blended mobility formats served as models for integrating digital learning into international cooperation. During the project period, the university successfully launched an electronic travel order application. These objectives were continuously monitored and evaluated through participant feedback, partner input, and internal reviews. The outcomes of the project contributed not only to the personal and professional growth of individuals but also to the institutional development and the University’s active engagement in the European Education Area.
