The Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) is the largest public university in the field of economics and business in the Czech Republic. Currently, there are almost 15,000 students enrolled here. The strategy for the development of international relations and the international environment at VŠE is based on cooperation with high-quality partner universities and membership in international organizations and networks that bring together the best universities specializing in economics. A high-quality partner network, which currently includes nearly 250 prestigious universities from all continents, has been established. Every year, approximately 1,000 VŠE students are sent abroad and a similar number of foreign students is accepted. The Erasmus+ program is a fundamental pillar of VŠE's international activities. The main objective of this project was to support the trend of internationalization and focus primarily on deepening exchanges within existing and functioning partnerships, or establishing new partnerships, e.g., for the organization of the Blended Intensive Program (BIP). The long-term goal is to increase the number of students and employees who gain international experience of various types – not only student exchanges, but also BIP, work placements, including short-term research placements, teaching mobilities for academics, and training for staff, etc.
