The 2023 project seamlessly built upon the two preceding programme projects. While the 2021 project remained rather limited in scope due to the lingering effects of the pandemic, the 2022 project, and especially this 2023 project, provided us with the opportunity to fully implement all dimensions of the programme. Through this comprehensive implementation, we sought to achieve a thorough, meaningful, and high-quality integration of the university, its students, and its staff into the programme. The continued and growing interest of both students and staff in participating in the project made this full implementation possible. Furthermore, our implementation aimed to advance the application of ECHE principles, to promote the digitalisation of the programme’s administrative processes, and to focus more closely on its key priorities. The 2023 project was allocated a higher budget compared to the 2022 project. We therefore placed strong emphasis on the full use of all available resources. The already mentioned high level of interest in programme participation greatly facilitated these efforts. Nevertheless, the activity of international mobilities had to be scaled back from the original financial plan due to budget constraints. We had intended to allocate the recommended 20% to this activity; however, owing to increased demand for other activities, this was unfortunately not feasible. In implementing the project, we also placed particular emphasis on quality assurance, ensuring that all participants—both incoming and outgoing—could rely on the strong administrative and academic support of CZU, fully committed to upholding the ECHE principles. The 2023 project also included a greater number of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) compared to the 2022 programme. By implementing these combined formats, our goal was to gain broader experience in their organisation. Based on the satisfaction of both BIP participants and organisers, this objective was successfully achieved. In summary, the implementation of the 2023 project can be regarded as a success. The objectives set at the outset were achieved, while maintaining both the required scope and the desired level of quality.
