Following the strategy of internationalization of Palacký University (UP), mobilities of students and staff within the Erasmus+ programme contribute towards increasing its attractiveness as a respected and visible international institution. Mobilities also help to develop international learning and work environment at UP and to implement the international dimension to all its activities. All types of mobilities are carried out and we strive to set the internal procedures to ensure the widest impact of mobilities to participant, their departments, and the whole institution. By implementing the project, we wanted to enable students and employees to develop both professionally and personally. Our aim was to increase the number of students and staff members interested in mobility and to strengthen already existing partnerships between departments in different study areas. The implementation of the project in the context of UP modernisation and internationalisation strategies brought new experience and perspective, deepened international cooperation, increased the numbers of students’ and staff mobilities. Student and staff exchanges led to cooperation in research projects, joint publications, and cooperation in other Erasmus+ projects.
