NEWTON University has been involved in the Erasmus program for more than twenty years, since 2005. Participation in the Erasmus program was one of NEWTON University's priorities even when the university was founded in 2004. The university combines theory with practice and aims to be a school that prepares students for life. It offers education in the fields of psychology, management, and economics. Students can study at three campuses in Prague, Brno, and Bratislava. They can choose between distance (combined) and full-time study. The university offers bachelor's and master's degree programs. The Global Business and Management program is also taught in English, allowing people from the Czech Republic and abroad to study. Almost 2,500 students study at NEWTON University in all fields and forms of study. NEWTON University employs academic staff, but we also collaborate with experts from the field. They offer students additional practical experience and insight. The main goal of NEWTON University is to provide education that prepares students to succeed in today's global world. That is why internationalization is one of the pillars of NEWTON University's strategy. Thanks to the emphasis on internationalization of the university environment, our students and employees are able to succeed in an international environment. An integral part of the internationalization strategy is participation in the Erasmus program. Thanks to the opportunity to go abroad within the Erasmus program, our students and employees gain unique and irreplaceable experience, develop their abilities, practical skills, and knowledge. These non-transferable experiences advance and develop our students and employees, giving them greater opportunities for professional and personal growth. An essential part of this is improving language skills, as well as work and study skills. Interest in participating in the Erasmus program is growing every year, both among students and staff. Students are interested in going on study and practical internships. Graduates are also going abroad more often. Students and staff who actively participate in the Erasmus program are motivated to perform better in their studies and work, are more open to cooperation, are more flexible, and, above all, are able to further apply themselves in an international environment. However, internationalization does not only take the form of student and staff mobility. Thanks to its involvement in the Erasmus program, NEWTON University is able to establish new partnerships and conclude new inter-institutional agreements. The number of partners increases with each project period, and mutual cooperation between universities deepens. NEWTON University encourages students and staff to actively seek new partners and establish new collaborations. NEWTON University is developing thanks to the Erasmus program. It cooperates with partners not only in the field of mobility, but also actively participates in other projects. One of the priorities of NEWTON University is internationalization. By participating in the Erasmus program, NEWTON University has achieved the following strategic goals in the field of internationalization: 1. The professional skills of employees and students have been developed thanks to their experience abroad. Their employability in the labor market has increased. After completing their mobility programs, students and graduates are able to succeed in the global world. 2. After graduating from NEWTON University, Erasmus program graduates have succeeded in the global world and become involved in the international labor market. 3. The language skills of students and employees have improved. After completing mobility within the Erasmus program, students and employees are more communicative in a foreign language environment. They are thus better able to find employment on the labor market, collaborate on international projects, and overall increase their expertise and comfort in an international environment. 4. During the project period, NEWTON University established inter-institutional cooperation with new partner universities. We have once again expanded our network of partner universities, thereby expanding the range of mobility opportunities for students and staff. Last but not least, we have also expanded our cooperation with several universities beyond the Erasmus KA 131 program. At the same time, we have further deepened our cooperation with existing partners in the form of mobility visits, experience sharing, and a staff week, which we organized during this project period. 5. Thanks to its participation in the Erasmus program, NEWTON University was able to offer students innovative teaching methods. 6. There was an increase in funding for the development of international mobility for students and staff, and the funds were also used to modernize technology and the environment. 7.
