Objectives

Our school has long been trying to promote the practical sense of education and the applicability of the acquired knowledge and knowledge especially for practical use in life. One of the important themes is the protection of the environment with an emphasis on what any individual can change. We try to encourage pupils to behave responsibly towards nature and to perceive the problems of environmental sustainability. We want to mobilize their activity in the field of civic responsibility and show them how they can get involved, contributing to their independence, active attitude towards life and seeking new opportunities. Many of our students come from problematic or unstimulating backgrounds. With this project we would like to help them to gain more confidence, experience and skills that they can build on themselves and use in their further studies or professional life. This will enable them to have a broader and more comprehensive view of the world and life. The aim is also to use IT tools in the implementation of mobility and to work in different spectrums with computer literacy - for some this means learning the basics, for others it means showing new uses, but also pointing out the dangers of new technologies. Focus on digital wellbeing and digital minimalism. We want to look at all available communication channels (including English and international sign language) that deaf learners can use to build their communication and social bridges with the outside world. We also want to support their mental and physical health. Particularly after the covid crisis, when the hearing impaired have become isolated, supporting their psychological well-being is very important. We would like to use the experience of cooperation with our foreign partners. By sharing and transferring information we want to enrich not only the pupils but also the teaching staff working in our common field.
