Through the implementation of the project we wanted to acquaint young people and increase their awareness of the benefits of digital transformation, we wanted to teach them how to use digitization to their advantage for self-development, we taught them how to acquire new competencies and increase their skills with the use of free online learning platforms, we wanted to learn young people how to use digitization to increase their efficiency. We also wanted to use digitization as a societal element of inclusion. Furthermore we also wanted to acquaint young people and raise their awareness of future technologies such as 3D printing and virtual and augmented reality. We taught young people to work with these technologies and to get to know the real life usage of these technologies in practice, we taught people to think about innovation and technologies as a tool to gain a competitive advantage when starting a business or looking for a job. We motivated young people to rethink their careers with an emphasis on current rapid technological advances and digitization, and helped them getting to know what competencies a citizen of the future should have. We also acquianted young people and raised their awareness of cybersecurity, safe online behavior, h them more about the most common types of online fraud, to teach them about the principle we taught them of personal data protection and get them acquainted with the issue of cyber attacks organized by hacker groups or authoritarian regimes. Finally, we wanted to involve disadvantaged and socially excluded youth through the project, to allow young people to learn about new cultures, languages and friends, spread European values and the idea of the European Union, and promote international cooperation and solidarity.
