Objectives

By implementing this project, we aimed to address the growing mental health challenges faced by young people in today’s fast-paced and emotionally triggering world. Through the creative use of art therapy, we sought to provide participants with tools to manage stress, process emotions, and enhance their overall well-being. Additionally, the project aimed to foster intercultural understanding and personal growth by bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds to share experiences, explore various art practices, and create impactful media outputs to inspire others. The aim of our project was to provide young people with the opportunity to learn and explore the benefits of art therapy as a tool to manage and cope with stress in a creative way. Main objectives: To promote mental health and wellbeing of young people by providing them with an opportunity to engage in art therapy sessions and learn how it can be a beneficial tool for managing stress and other mental health issues. To learn how to recognize, accept, appreciate, process, and deal with emotions on a personal level with the help of various methods of art therapy. To explore different experiences and practices in the field of arts among young people from different cultural backgrounds, providing more information about the topic of the project during sessions and workshops. To further facilitate the self-development and self-awareness journey of participants with the help of art therapy tools. To create a media product (explicit social media posts, online photo exhibition, short videos) that can help motivate other young people to use techniques of art therapy in daily life.
