In general, classic methods of teaching maths no longer correspond to the real needs of contemporary students. Students often go through a lack of self-confidence and motivation. They are frequently too passive in class and have trouble working as a team. Therefore, the main goal of „See Inside Maths” project was to find ways to improve the ability of all students, including those with lower levels of success, to develop their problem-solving skills and their ability to use mathematics skills within level-mixed groups. According to the described ideas, the project involved innovative learning methodologies in different fields of math to develop pupils’ interest and competence in mathematics. Additionally, it aimed to significantly improve participants’ English language skills, enhance their social and civic life skills, and help them acquire social and intercultural competencies necessary for their personal lives. As teachers, having the opportunity to get to know different educational systems and various approaches to teaching our subjects has a unique value in terms of continuing our professional development and providing us with the necessary motivation to keep transmitting our knowledge in an inspiring way to our students.
