Background

The project was developed to address the urgent need to strengthen knowledge, skills, and engagement in Climate Change & Biodiversity Sustainability among youth workers and youth. Partners identified a lack of practical, innovative educational tools and limited awareness of environmental challenges, especially among young people who will be most affected in the future. The project aimed to support youth workers and educators by providing structured methodologies and to empower youth through education, critical thinking, and active participation. It addressed the need for cross-sectoral cooperation among NGOs, educational institutions, and stakeholders to develop more effective and sustainable solutions. A key focus was on youth engagement, including improving environmental awareness, developing digital creativity and social media skills, and fostering critical thinking and problem-solving. The project also promoted civic engagement and political activism, encouraging young people to take action and contribute to decision-making processes related to sustainability.
