Objectives

At the University of Luebeck, the Erasmus Programme is a very important component in regard to study stays abroad. We register a steady increase in numbers of participants. The implementation of new study programmes will in future lead to new cooperations and a further increase in mobility numbers and will therefore strengthening international cooperations and promoting mobilty at our institution. All stays abraod, whether for studies or internships, can be integrated in the degree course at home. The recognition practice is well established and works frictionless. The International Office cooperates closely with all faculties, due to the centralized organisation and the size of our university (4900 students). The internationalisation at our university is constantly evolving and the ERASMUS programme plays a significant role in this process. Our university is actually the smallest, regarding student numbers, in Germany with a focus on health sciences, natural sciences and technology. The student support system is excellent and even personal. The primary goals of implementing the ERASMUS project at our institution are to enhance the educational and personal development of students and staff through international mobility and cooperation.
