Our university wanted to expand and extend existing university partnerships and establish new ones. We hoped to improve the qualifications of our teaching staff, permanent employees and trainees. The aim was to strengthen our experience in joint teaching and training. Participation in seminars and workshops, including staff weeks, was intended to broaden and improve the knowledge base of our staff. We wanted to use these experiences to gain insights for the planning, organisation, implementation and completion of mobilities, also with regard to digitalisation, sustainability and diversity. The aim was to sharpen the scientific profile that forms the scientific basis for solutions to European police tasks. The absorption and processing of new scientific findings from our university partners as a result of successful mobilities should serve to successfully qualify Saxon police officers under the personnel responsibility of our university, e.g. professionally, ethically and morally against the backdrop of European principles or in the sense of increased sustainability and diversity.
