Objectives

The University of Applied Sciences Konstanz is a modern university with an application-oriented focus. It offers a wide range of subjects and benefits from interdisciplinarity and the combination of theory and practice. The university places great emphasis on internationalization. By participating in the ERASMUS program, it pursues the strategic goal of opening up successful career and life opportunities for students from different educational backgrounds and origins. Although stays abroad, the acquisition of intercultural skills for the globalized world of work, and the acquisition or improvement of foreign language skills have long been an integral part of studying at the university, participation in the ERASMUS program is intended to make these the norm and expand them further. The central components of the ERASMUS program—the recognition of academic achievements abroad with the help of the ECTS and financial support for students—form an essential basis for the increasing internationalization of the university. Within the framework of the ERASMUS program, the university currently has more than 40 European university partnerships.
