Through its participation in the Erasmus+ programme, Hochschule Bielefeld – University of Applied Sciences and Arta (HSB)has three main objectives: Firstly, we aim to significantly increase student mobility in order to facilitate intercultural exchange and global perspectives of all students, teaching staff and employees. Secondly, we aim to increase the attractiveness of our study locations in Bielefeld, Gütersloh, and Minden for international students. Through the internationalisation of the curricula and the facilitation of intercultural skills in our degree programmes, we aim to create an attractive learning environment that appeals to students from all over the world and offers them high-quality education. Thirdly, our aim is to embed, support, and increase internationalisation at all levels of our university. This includes integrating international aspects into teaching, research, and administration as well as creating an intercultural campus life. The Erasmus+ programme provides us the opportunity to promote these internationalisation goals and increase the number of mobilities in all status groups.
