As part of the internationalization strategy of HKS Ottersberg, this project was meant to maintain and strengthen the international network of our university and incorporate an international perspective into our university. Our goal was to provide our students with the opportunity to expand their academic, artistic, vocational and personal horizons by studying or pursuing traineeships abroad as all of our degree programmes and most of our curriculum contents are geared toward careers that immensely profit from or even require experiences beyond what might be called one’s own cultural background. Beyond that, the goal was to expand our university's network with other HEIs but also with non-academic institutions in order to move along the internationalization of our institution, which is a project we deem more important than ever in these politically trying times. Generally, mobilities were meant to enable students and teaching staff to be ambassadors of the social and artistic perspectives unique to HKS Ottersberg as well as enrich our classrooms with international impressions and perspectives from experiences gained abroad.
