Objectives

The Erasmus+ programme is at the heart of the internationalisation activities at Europa-Universität Flensburg (EUF). The programme not only enables students and members of staff to go abroad, but also makes a substantial contribution to the internationalisation of the entire university. One of the project objectives was therefore to maintain the mobility figures at the high level of the previous year's project and to consolidate the new mobility formats of the 2021-2027 programme generation, also with regard to membership in the European university alliance EMERGE (since January 2025). As teacher training is a core element of the EUF profile, there is a particular focus on the mobility activities of this target group. The establishment of a central recognition office at the International Center, which guarantees long-term academic recognition in line with the Lisbon Convention, has already contributed to an increase in the mobility of teacher training students. In addition, a position for internationalisation in the teacher training degree programmes was created in January 2023 to develop new mobility formats.
