The objectives of the 2023 ERASMUS project anticipate the goals of the HSD University Development Plan 2024–2028, particularly those outlined in the “Strategy for International Mobility in Studies and Teaching.” A strategic goal is to increase the number of mobilities in all areas—Student Mobility (SM) and Staff Mobility (ST), both incoming and outgoing—by 10% each year. To achieve this, new advising formats will be tested, and the availability of information will be improved. Short-term mobilities will receive special support to create low-threshold incentives for international and intercultural experiences. Through collaboration with HSD’s Climate Protection Office, participants will be made more aware of sustainable mobility. Additionally, working together with the Office for Bareer-free Studies and the Family Services Office will allow for more targeted outreach and tailored advising for students with special needs and fewer opportunities. Cooperation with partner universities will be intensified, and strategic partners will be identified to jointly advance inclusive mobility. The medium-term idea is to build a network of partner universities that can offer tailored support for participants with special needs. The digitalization of administrative processes must continue to progress. Digital workflows for ERASMUS internships, short-term mobilities, and staff mobility need to be implemented.
