Objectives

The project envisaged 220 internships for students, graduates and doctoral candidates, and seven staff mobilities (1 teaching mobility, 6 training mobilities), with a particular focus on vocational trainees at the partner institutions. The Erasmus Internship Office aimed to support all eligible applicants — including people with fewer opportunities — thereby contributing to the EU’s objective of enabling every person to undertake at least one Erasmus mobility during their education. Destination countries were to be chosen to ensure broad geographical and cultural diversity. The internships were intended to be of high quality, to generate strong learning outcomes, and to be widely recognised by participants’ home institutions. They were also expected to promote participants’ academic and personal development, to foster civic values such as tolerance and community engagement, and to strengthen a positive attitude toward the EU. At the institutional level, the project sought to secure the consortium’s continuity and to expand and deepen partnerships at local, regional and European levels. In addition, the quality of the Erasmus Internship Office’s work was to be continuously improved through regular evaluations, and the resulting project outputs were to be disseminated to the relevant target groups.
