With around 170 partnerships worldwide, including 90 Erasmus partner universities, Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm is one of the internationally oriented higher education institutions in southern Germany. With a wide range of English-language bachelor's and master's programmes and around 1.500 international students from over 100 countries, the university promotes intercultural exchange and global networking. One of the university's key objectives is to further raise its international profile and offer all members of the university the opportunity to gain valuable international experience. The EU's Erasmus funding programme plays a key role in this context. It enables all students to complete a recognised internship or study semester abroad, regardless of their study cycle. In return, measures are promoted that contribute to the high satisfaction of international students from partner universities and organisations. The internationalisation of teaching also benefits from the Erasmus measures, as teachers incorporate their international expertise into their lessons. All of the university's activities are aligned with the goals of the European Education Area and the European Renewal Agenda and are consistently implemented.
