There are around 300-350 mobilities that are being handled by the Outgoing Team (part of the International Office, INO) of the University of Bayreuth each year. Mobilities with program countries enable students, lecturers and employees of the University of Bayreuth to have a sponsored exchange free of charge, which contributes to the internationalization strategy of the University of Bayreuth and actively implements it. Moreover, the project 2023 intended to secure this exchange and to increase the number of mobilities for students with disadvantaged background thanks to the social top-up. Additionally, new ways of promoting the entire Erasmus+ program with the focus on the "Green Travel" have been worked out. The programm management was facilitated through the implemented process automation and the ongoing digitalisation of the Erasmus+ programme within the framework of Erasmus Without Paper.
