Thanks to the clear “KIT 2025” strategy with unambiguous priorities, KIT can consistently pursue its goals in the field of international affairs. To this end, the International Services Unit (DE INTL) works closely with the KIT faculties, the Services Unit for Studies and Teaching, and other internal and external partners, such as the Student Services Organization (responsible for student housing, social counseling, and cafeterias) or regional players. Particular attention is paid to promoting international mobility and gaining international experience for students, young scientists, and KIT staff. Conversely, the aim is to increase the attractiveness of KIT for excellent students and scientific staff from abroad. This is also intended to provide targeted support for attracting skilled workers to the Karlsruhe region and the state of Baden-Württemberg.
