Objectives

The consortium associated with the University of Fulda, established in the year 2001, is recognized as the Regional Network for Erasmus Traineeships and University-Business Cooperation. Presently, it is composed of 11 constituent partners, comprising 10 universities and one institution, the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research (Inter-Research e.V.). This institute has been actively involved in the coordination of Erasmus traineeships in collaboration with the University of Fulda since its establishment in 2001. The execution of the Erasmus Program for Traineeships facilitates students in undertaking traineeships in both program and partner countries. They receive financial support to balance out the additional costs and expenses that come with going and living abroad. In addition to the financial grants, our commitment extends to guiding students in their traineeship preparation, closely monitoring their experiences to ensure favorable outcomes, and nurturing the development of competencies essential for a successful sojourn abroad. Our intercultural accompanying course (Hands-On Learning) enhances participants’ awareness and preparedness for various scenarios abroad, and develops key intercultural, entrepreneurial, and civic competencies.
