Objectives

The realisation of student and staff mobility is a strategic and decisive measure for HNEE to achieve its goals in offering international academic education and intercultural exchange to its students and staff. The stay abroad enables the acquisition of study, professional and intercultural skills, some of which can only be acquired through the academic, personal and organisational challenges and insights of a stay abroad. Students gain new perspectives and valuable insights that differ from their study programme at their home institution, while still being recognized as part of their official studies due to the credit recognition. HNEE and its partner institutions work closely on creating complement study programmes and even developed joint curricula with partners that lead into the co- development of double or joint degrees. Besides the academic level, the joint development of applications in Erasmus+ is another aspect of the continuous collaboration between HNEE and its partners. That development is also fostered by staff mobilities in teaching and training. While teaching is an excellent possibility for professors and academic staff to present their research to an international audience and exchange scientific finding with the academic community, the training mobilities offer a great way to gain a broader insight into scientific topics as well as administrative structures and strategies at partner institutions. In addition, all mobilities positively impact the internationalization of HNEE and its implementation as a cross-cutting task in teaching, research and administration. The care of existing partner institution, the seeking of expansion with partner institution and the consolidation of HNEE's partnerships with institutions in other European countries is another important goal of the project.
