Osnabrück University (UOS) is a regionally anchored, interdisciplinary and internationally cross-linked institution. With it being an open and dynamic university, UOS strives to further intensify its international exchange relationships in the fields of study, teaching, research and administration. UOS considers it one of its core tasks to prepare its students optimally for future challenges. It feels this responsibility especially regarding the constantly increasing demand for excellently trained, intercultural competent individuals on the European and global job market. Further goals, which have been set by UOS in reference to internationalization, are the continuous augmentation of mobile participants (incoming and outgoing students and staff) as well as the internationalization of the teaching and administrative staff. The Erasmus+ Programme plays a key role in achieving this goal and thus represents an important factor regarding its own internationalisation and modernisation strategy.
