The objective of the project was to increase the number of mobilities among university staff and students. This was to be achieved not only through traditional long-term mobilities, but also through short-term mobilities. The latter are particularly attractive for students who, due to the nature of their studies, such as in health-related programs, find it difficult to undertake long-term exchanges. Short-term mobilities also serve as an incentive for students to pursue a long-term mobility later in their academic careers. Beyond the benefits for students and academic staff, short-term mobilities strengthen cooperation with partner universities and generate new ideas for collaboration, such as bilateral agreements (BIPs) or joint projects. The increased mobility of teaching staff enhances their professional, intercultural, and language competencies. All mobility formats have a direct positive impact on staff satisfaction and contribute to a sense of purpose. The same applies to administrative staff who participate in mobility activities, as their international experiences enrich their professional development and strengthen their engagement.
