Objectives

Erasmus+ is a key element of internationalisation at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) and sharpens the international profile of our university. Mobile participants contribute to an open, inspiring teaching, learning and working environment. Mobility must be promoted on a broad scale, among students, staff and teachers. We must drive forward the further development of established mobility formats with regard to digitalisation, sustainability and inclusion. Newer mobility formats, such as short-term mobility within the framework of doctoral student mobility and BIPSs, will be further developed and expanded so that participants can be supported in an even more target group-specific manner. The EUGLOH network is being expanded within the framework of the European University Alliances. This will intensify cooperation with key partners at all levels. It will increase Erasmus+ mobility and pave the path to a common education area. The 2023 project had clear goals: to further improve the quality of stays abroad, consolidate existing cooperation, sustainably expand the international network, increase the overall number of mobile participants, and make the best possible use of the budget.
