Objectives

The project aims to support the internationalisation of students, higher education institutions, and host organisations abroad in a sustainable and structured manner. International internships and staff mobilities generate a valuable flow of experience and feedback for the participating institutions, thereby enhancing the practical relevance and international dimension of higher education. Participants and host organisations are encouraged to recognise the importance of lifelong learning in an intercultural context and to appreciate the value of free mobility on a global scale. Moreover, the project contributes to increased transparency within the European Higher Education Area and supports the development of a more integrated and competitive international labour market. The quality of host institutions, the relevance of internship content, the provision of adequate mentoring and support, as well as the certification and recognition of learning outcomes by sending institutions, are key factors in enhancing the skills and competences of students. This, in turn, contributes to improving their long-term employability and supports the overarching goals of the European Education Area.
