Objectives

The Medical School Berlin (MSB) sees it as its central mission to specifically prepare students for a professional career in the constantly evolving healthcare market. To this end, it offers a high-quality range of study programs that meet the demands of a challenging professional future. International experience and intercultural competences are becoming increasingly important in the globalized job market and are now often considered prerequisites for a successful career. In order to enable students to acquire these skills, MSB actively supports stays abroad. Language skills and intercultural experience open up broader professional prospects for graduates. The Erasmus+ programme is an essential component of the university’s international focus and strategic development goals. Within the framework of the 2023 project, MSB pursued the goal of further promoting interest in international mobility opportunities – particularly among students of health sciences. Since study programmes in this field are often highly regulated, the willingness to undertake a study period or internship abroad is typically lower. In addition to the psychology programme, which already has a comparatively high level of international mobility, this project also provided support to medical students.
