The 2023 project, part of Erasmus KA131 – Mobility between program countries – was carried out in accordance with the European Policy Statement and the internationalization strategy of Leuphana University Lüneburg. The overarching goal was to promote the mobility of students and university staff within the framework of structured mobility programs. Mobility took place within the framework of inter-institutional cooperation agreements with predominantly long-standing partners in program countries in order to ensure the quality of the measures and the recognition of the mobility phases for study, teaching, and the working environment. New contracts with suitable partners, e.g., to enable mobility in new degree programs, were generally concluded by the end of the program generation in order to guarantee a continuous and reliable offering. Furthermore, mobility in Erasmus partner countries was carried out within the framework of existing cooperation agreements. For the first time, mobility was also funded as part of a centrally advertised blended intensive program at a partner university. In this way, in addition to students in an early phase of their studies, students for whom long-term mobility would not have been possible for personal reasons could also be reached.
