The project focused on the implementation of the principles of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education, as well as on the general and specific goals of the Erasmus+ programme. The Erasmus+ mobility programme continued to be a key instrument of the internationalization strategy of Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences, which includes five central fields of action: 1.Internationalisation at home, 2.Attracting and integrating international students, 3.International mobilities of students, teachers and administrative staff, 4.International partnership networks and 5.Internationalization of research and transfer, which are equal and closely interlinked or mutually dependent. The aim of the project is a continuous increase of mobility numbers and the expansion and consolidation of existing collaborations and improvement of the services in order to offer participants a successful stay abroad. In cooperation with the Language Centre, we offer all students a wide range of language courses for optimal language preparation for their stay abroad. The integration of foreign guest lectures into the study programme enabled all students on our campus to experience an international and intercultural teaching atmosphere during their studies.
