Objectives

In the course of advancing European integration, an increasing number of social, economic, and ecological challenges can only be addressed through cooperation with international partners. Cross-border collaboration continues to be characterized by a high degree of dynamism in various fields. As future civil servants at the European, national, regional, and local levels, graduates of the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration Kehl must be adequately prepared for this working environment. In the long term, the university pursues the goal of positioning itself as a European University for Public Administration. Against this background, and within the framework of its internationalisation strategy, the university consistently consolidates its international activities with the aim of deepening its relations with strategically relevant cooperation partners and facilitating the international transfer of knowledge in teaching and research for the benefit of its students. Participation in the ERASMUS+ mobility project KA131 2023 was intended to contribute in particular to the following objectives: Strengthening the intercultural competences of students and staff; Enhancing the ability to initiate and implement international projects, including in connection with other European programmes; Expanding network management and problem-solving skills in the context of complex transnational challenges; Consolidating the experiences gained within the framework of KA131 2022 and further developing internationalisation measures in a targeted manner.
