By implementing the Erasmus+ KA131 project 2023, our main goal was to prepare future teachers – the main part of our students are enrolled in Teacher Education degrees – and other students heading for a career in education (related) areas to work and teach in multicultural and heterogeneous settings with an open-minded and inclusive mind-set. Exposing students and staff to (intercultural) diversity through personal experience abroad but also through encounters with incoming students and staff from European partner institutions at "home" at our university are therefore important aims of our university's education strategy in order to prepare our graduates to meet the challenges of our present heterogeneous society successfully and to become stakeholders who activly particpate in shaping a pluralistic, democratic society.
